i think most people have seen the gee's bend quilt show by now since it's been touring for years. i still can't get over how amazing they are. really perfect colors, composition, everything. wow!

hot tape

man, i have been seeing posts everywhere about this awesome tape! i pretty much agree with everyone else that it's the coolest thing around, but how can we use it? we all need to come up with some new craft form that requires lots of hot tape. ideas? tape shirts? tape wallpaper? tape wreaths?

i love tile

my mom is visiting in a few weeks and staying with me and all i can think about is that i need to renovate my apartment. ha! i don't own it and it needs a ton of work, but someday i would love to learn how to tile and make a beautiful entry way or kitchen like these beautiful shots by martyn thompson.

i'm surprised i haven't posted about lucas allen before. he is wonderful and talented and shoots very inspiring interiors among other things. i just wish he updated his website more often though since i love checking out his new work. i should talk. :)

sarah seven

i ran across sarah seven's dresses on oh joy the other day and i just love them. a few of them would be amazing wedding dresses, but they are also perfect for attending a wedding. my favorite part about sarah is that she takes your measurements and makes each dress custom. she will even make it longer or shorter for you. wow! i love the two above best, but unfortunately i don't have a wedding to attend this year for the first time in years. bummer.
