jorge colombo

this week's cover of the new yorker has a really cool drawing by artist jorge colombo. the amazing thing is that he made the drawing in an hour using an i-phone application called brushes. there's a video on the new yorker website showing the process. very beautiful. also check out other work on his personal website.

artists in residence

the architectural digest website has a great slide show showing the homes of famous artists. my favorite is this exterior shot of the home of Claes Oldenburg and his wife and creative partner, Coosje van Bruggen. the pin sculpture looks amazing in this idyllic setting.
