i'm always looking for the perfect gift for my little niece and nephew (since i want to be the coolest aunt) and i just love these little tops. my sister and i had one as kids that we loved, but it wasn't wooden and pretty like these.

i worked with ellen several times a few years ago and she is super sweet. i only worked with her on food shoots and i was excited to see her new interiors portfolio. really beautiful images and nice homes.

i was looking through the recent urban outfitters catalog and noticed how none of the girls are looking at the camera. they are all covering their faces and turning their backs. interesting.

i like david roemer's pool shots. he also shoots fashion and portraits with nice hard light. i am going to try to be that sexy next time i take a swim. ha!!

the selby

i am in love with the new site, the selby by photographer, todd selby. he shoots the homes of models, artists, editors, designers, etc and shows such a raw and unedited perspective. i enjoy looking through home magazines more than anything, but this is even better.

the tripod lamp

i have wanted a tripod lamp for some time now and the one at bddw is simply the best. dan and i are attempting to "renovate" our studio and this would make it just perfect. well, we would still need an office chair, antique cabinet, and some nice shelving, but it's definitely an excellent start.

update: they got back to me on the price and it's $3200. plan b awaits.
