scott conarroe

scott is from canada and he shoots seemingly normal landscapes, but makes them look eerie and grand. i am a fan of the time lapse shots since they display everything that is lost and empty about winter. i also love the shot above of a playground under an elevated highway. i live close to an elevated highway and i often wonder why they can't build parks or gardens or something happy and full of life in this otherwise dead zone.

this bench just might be the hottest piece of furniture i have ever seen. it's an ercol design from the 50's that has been reissued with the sweetest paint job. love it!!

andrew durham

andrew's work all seems very effortless and cool and a little fancy.

hugo guinness

hugo guinness is selling 4 limited edition botanical prints at the conde nast store. i have always wanted one of his prints. this is definitely the best price i have ever seen them for.

twig hutchinson

twig is a super stylist based in london. whenever i see the work of great stylists, all i can think of is how nice their own homes must be.

tim walker

i haven't posted about photo lately, so i will start back up with one of the best photographers ever, tim walker. his photos are magical and inspiring.

julie neill, a lighting designer based in new orleans designed these beautiful sconces. i just love them.

there is definitely a similarity between these and my candelabra from the previous post as well. i also love the idea of metal wall art that i have posted about a few months ago. i guess am going through a metal phase.
