julie neill, a lighting designer based in new orleans designed these beautiful sconces. i just love them.

there is definitely a similarity between these and my candelabra from the previous post as well. i also love the idea of metal wall art that i have posted about a few months ago. i guess am going through a metal phase.

i had no idea that one man designed so many tabletop items that i have been coveting for years. many of josef hoffman's classic designs are available at the neue galerie shop. if only it wasn't a recession...

australian photographer, vee speers has a new series of photos titled "the birthday party". the series includes eerie and beautiful photos of children. very nice!

very pretty and laid-back fashion photos. you can tell that colette has a knack for styling too since all the shots on her website are cool and well edited.

birch gets me every time

i am super excited about christmas decorations already. oh joy! posted about the terrain store in pennsylvania last week and directed me to the velocity website to purchase these amazing roost birch veneer trees and ornaments. i have such a tough time resisting birch!

nice mailer

i rarely (if ever) get psyched to see an email from adbase in my inbox (especially the ones sent in the middle of the night. what are they thinking?), but this was a cute idea from a photo/illustration rep, snyder and company. very cute and it made me look.

wow! these are so lovely! elsa mora has a super cool blog devoted to her papercutting. she also has a store on etsy where you can buy prints of her amazing designs.

today is the day

wow. what a long election. i woke up very early this morning ready to vote and ready to win. my line wasn't too bad, but my co-workers came across many lines that were hours long. i can't stop reading the news online today even though we won't know anything until tonight.
