i've never been to cape cod, but i just added it to my list of places i must go since the ny times did this interesting article on edward hopper.
dan and i saw a plein air painting class with their easels at morro bay on our road trip. i think it's such a pure form of art, as uncool and un-avart-garde as it is... maybe because it reminds me of setting up my camera and tripod and waiting for the perfect light.
